Smashcut makes it easy to collaborate with people based around the world and engage in group projects or general collaboration.

Where to access your Crew:

Once your Instructor assigns you to a Crew, you will see the Crew Hub button appear in the top navigation menu. The Crew Hub lists your active Crews. Click on one to enter the Crew Page, where you and your fellow crewmates work together to complete assigned projects.

Crew Messages:
Each Crew Page includes a special crew-only discussion board and a list of the projects your crew is assigned to work on together.Β

Crew Projects:

If your instructor has assigned any projects, they will show up in the Projects tab. Click on a project to read more details for that assignment. If you don't have any assigned projects, this tab will be empty.

Click on a project to read instructions and details for that assignment:

Crew Files:

The Crew Files tab is where you can upload, share, and download any media assets with your fellow crewmates.

You can also upload and share assets with your crew like screenplays, shot lists, b-roll, and video edits within each project.

Crew Calls:

All Crews have a Join Crew Call button that is always available. Click it to instantly join a live video chat with your crewmates. You can bring up and screen Crew Files, your own files, and share your screen during Crew Calls.

Notifications:

When you or any of your crew members upload a file, message, or submit a project, you receive a notification under Crew Hub Button:

If you run into any issues navigating Crew Hub, please get in touch with Smashcut Support Team via Help Chat button.
